Wow! I can't believe this year has gone by so fast! It amazing how time flies when you're helping people ! I love the feeling you get when you help somebody. Even if its just hold open a door for someone who is not strong enough or has just too many things to hold. I just stumbled onto this site while remembering my all to short Rainbow days. I was in the Modesto Assemblyfrom about 89-93. I really loved being in Rainbow and wish I had been able to stay in longer. The time I spent there was during a very formative period and I really feel it helped make me into the woman I am today. I was really excited to see that the website now includes pages for a Line Officer Handbook. I remember that during my first time through the line, I lost many pages and it was difficult to get replacements. I have recently returned to college, going for my fourth degree, what a job right? I am looking for help from my Rainbow sisters. I am trying to join a sorority alumnae group for Pi Beta Phi Sorority, the problem is that I have been off campus for quite some time. I need to find a current or alumnae member to sponsor me, so ladies, can any of you help me in this quest? My interest in the particular sorority is that one of it's philanthropic projects is Literacy, and as a Librarian and Educator, those are two of my goals. I hope to hear from some of you soon.

What fun memories! I truly enjoyed my Rainbow Dreams. My niece, Nina, is currently the new Rep. to Hawaii/Alaska. Jessica was the Grand Editor for the walrus/lama's. Maraka is a busy PWA and just got her Grand Cross. It is so nice to see my 3 nieces active in Rainbow. My son is in DeMolay here in Reno and my sister Laura is current MA for the Vacaville Assembly and my dad's on the board. I guess you'd say I'm still chasing Rainbows after many years!

I joined Rainbow 8-26-03 and am loving it. I love the support that we receive from other Masonic fraternities! I also love that every girl has dedicated herself to a life of service when joining Rainbows. I love that I am apart of DeMolay serving currently as the Vallejo Junior Princess. I love my boys for showing and helping to support Rainbows. I also love all my friends that I have that are Jobies which I have met through DeMolay, if possible maybe I will even join Jobs Daughters. I almost forgot myself and Lizi Xanders of my assembly were chosen for this years Grand Choir!(2005) FUN, FUN, FUN !!!!!!! It's been a long time since I've actively sought information about Rainbow and my home assembly. I am saddened to note that Crescent Bay #45 was closed in 1991. I would love to know why, and would love to know where my Rainbow sisters of 1959-1964 are. I have two granddaughters that I hope will seek Rainbow and what it offers.
