Hello California Rainbow!!! I wanted to let all of the girls
between the ages of 16-20 know that there is a great opportunity
to help out the Masonic Youth Organizations. A chapter sweetheart
for DeMolay not only helps the chapter, it is a huge benefactor to
all three of the groups. A sweetheart is the liaison between the
local chapters, bethels and assemblies. The California
Jurisdiction for DeMolay is divided into Northern and Southern
California. Each program is slightly different but the intentions
are still the same. If you are interested in becoming a chapter
sweetheart, or just want more information please email either the
Northern California DeMolay Association Sweetheart or the Southern
California Jurisdiction Sweetheart. |

Well
I just thought that I would tell everyone that I have gotten
married. My new last name is Short. I also have a three and a half
month old baby girl. Her name is Valerie N. Short. She was 9lbs
4.7oz when she was born and 22in long. Now she weighs 12.2lbs and
is 24in long. She is getting so big.
Also does anyone know where Jennifer Riley, Nature from 2002, is.
I have tried emailing her but I haven't gotten any responses. If
you know where she is can you email me or have her email me
please. |

make up this Order. Floor work, Ritual work and everything in
between has been absolutely amazing this year! Continue the good
work and spread the word of Rainbow into your community to
"recruit" new girls so California can meet Lauren's challenge of
doubling registration at Grand Assembly 2004. Jen- I feel so lucky
to have been able to travel with you this year because you are one
of my best friends and we never cease to have fun together...big
"L" on the forehead and all! ;) Thanks to ANYONE who has ever
shown me any kindness or hospitality throughout this year. YOU are

Past Grand Immortality |
| This
is a great website! I attended grand assembly in 1984. My sister
was Grand Rep. to California from Illinois. My mom (majority
member), sister and I had the best time. We met so many different
people tied to such a great organization. Your grand assembly left
such an impression on me that I am still remember it vividly to
this day. We just had our Grand Assembly session this weekend and
one of my girls was appointed Correspondent to California and
Hawaii. She received the appointment on the 20th anniversary that
my sister received hers. I hope she gets to go to grand and
experience the wonderful memories that I did!! |

| Hi
all! I enjoy coming back to this site periodically to see what
you've been up to in California! Being a Past Grand Rep. to
California (1990) myself, California Rainbow has a real place in
my heart. In Oregon, we've just started on our new grand year and
I invite all of you to attend our next Grand Assembly session to
be held June 24-26, 2004 in Albany, OR. Our theme for this year is
"Rainbow's Polar Express" with the mascot being the Polar Bear.
We're looking forward to a fun year with our new GWA, Erin, and
her winter theme! In addition, her reception will be held on
October 4th and we'd love to see some California girls there! For
more information, you can email me. Keep up the great work,
California Rainbow! |

been a very long time since I've gotten back to my "Rainbow

including my own. Rainbow was such a HUGE part of my life and it
was fun looking at the photo gallery. My own daughter is nine
years old and looking forward to the day when she can join
Rainbow. Thanks for the memories! |

Hello California Rainbow! Greeting from Florida Rainbow! My name
is Andrea and I am Worthy Advisor of my Assembly, Sunshine #108,
located in Tarpon Springs, Florida. I was reading the way of life
page, and California has a lot of Assemblies! I'd estimate that
Florida has about 65 to 70 Assemblies. Florida's Grand Assembly is
tomorrow, June 27 to July 1st! Our Grand Worthy Advisor is Miss
Shannon Poole and she is a friend of mine and from my district.
Her theme is "Faith Unlocks the Door" and her colors are violet
and ivory. Her service project is to Boggy Creek. Grand Assembly
is being held at the Belleview Biltmore Hotel and Resort in
Clearwater. Some things I noticed different from our jurisdictions
is that your Grand Worthy Associate Advisor doesn't move up to
Grand Worthy Advisor. In Florida, the Grand Worthy Associate
Advisor is the only office that moves up, and she becomes Grand
Worthy Advisor the following year. Well, congratulations to all of
your 2003-2004 Grand Officers!! Maybe we will see some California
Girls at our Grand Assembly! In Rainbow Love and Service, Andrea! |

| It
has been so long since I have enjoyed California Rainbow in my
daily life. I think of my teen years with wonderful memories,
especially now that my own beautiful daughter is 12 years old. My
years in Rainbow helped me grow so much as a person and I still
think of the lessons I learned as a grown adult. I am currently a
middle school teacher (grades 6-8) and value the adults, leaders
and girlfriends I had during my teen years, that I am able to be
the adult and leader to the children I see daily. Many children
today need guidance and my Rainbow life continues to help me.
There is nothing more that I want than to see Rainbow continue to
grow and help young ladies become good leaders our country will
need in the future. Good luck to all in California Rainbow and
thanks so much for the times I had. With the website, I am able to
keep up with the organization. The website would not be possible
without the dedication so I thank you for your time and talents! |
