SUPREME ASSEMBLY TOUR, 2002

In the year 2002, Supreme Assembly will be held in the beautiful city of Orlando, Florida. Sessions will be held July 22-24, 2002. At this Supreme Assembly we will SEE a lot of walking courtesy of Mrs. Anna Lind who will be serving as Supreme Drill Leader. Supreme Assembly is a wonderful time to spend time with Rainbow Girls and adults from all over California, not to mention all the other jurisdictions of Rainbow. Don't forget to bring your swaps (small souvenirs of California to trade with other Rainbow Girls and adults). Trading swaps has become a tradition you will want to participate in. It's fun for everyone young and old. At the sessions we will see other Grand Worthy Advisors act as Supreme Officers and Pages.

Our own Supreme Deputy Mrs. Sara Lee Martin will make us all proud as she sits in the east representing California.

Our 5-day tour will leave the morning of Saturday, July 22, 2002 from Los Angeles and San Francisco. Sunday will be the Grand Cross of Color Degree and Luncheon. Sunday night will be the Supreme Banquet, an event you will not want to miss. Great food and entertainment make for an evening you'll not soon forget. sessions will open Monday evening continuing on Tuesday all day. Closing is Wednesday morning followed by Installation of Supreme Officers. The 5-day tour group will return to California late Wednesday afternoon.

While in Orlando; everyone is invited to our famous "GET AQUAINTED BREAKFAST". This is a great time to meet every one in our tour group. After breakfast there will be a fun trip or a free day to explore Orlando. Fun trip will be announced in a later newsletter.

Well; as long as we are in Orlando we might as well have some more fun. The 11-day tour group will leave early Thursday morning aboard a space shuttle (I mean bus) and blast off for the Kennedy Space Center to explore the outer reaches of our solar system. That same afternoon we will board another ship. The FANTASY will shuttle us down to NASSAU for a 3-day cruise. That's right, three days of eating, shows, shopping, swimming, tired yet? Did I mention DISNEY WORLD?

3-day (hopper) passes will let us hop from one park to another any time of day. We will be staying at a Disney World hotel across from the Market Place shopping center, which will give us easy access to the entire Disney World complex via shuttles.
