Mrs. Lind Stepping Down as Supreme Inspector

After guiding our great Grand Jurisdiction for ten years as Supreme Deputy and then as Supreme Inspector, Mrs. Anna Lind is stepping down as Supreme Inspector in California. Mrs. Lind made her announcement at this year's Last Official Visit on January 16, 2000.

Following the announcement of California's eight Grand Marshals and several Grand Pages for Grand Assembly 2000, she remained at the microphone and made her tearful announcement. Mr. Lind joined her in the East as she went on to say that she will remain in office as Supreme Nature and as a member of the House of Gold. Mrs. Marjorie Wilson, Supreme Worthy Associate Advisor was also by her side.

What came next was the announcement of California's new Supreme Deputy. California Rainbow's new leader was already in the East. The lucky lady is currently an Adult Member of the Grand Executive Committee and Mother Advisor of Fullerton-Yorba Linda Assembly, one of the host Assemblies for the Official Visit. Her name is Mrs. Sara Lee Martin. Mrs. Martin has been involved with Rainbow for many years and is a Past Grand Officer and daughter Heidi is a Past Grand Faith.

Mrs. Lind and Mrs. Martin have been working together for many months and will continue to do so during the remaining months before Grand Assembly in April. Mrs. Martin will assume her new responsibilities at Grand Assembly when she will be installed as Supreme Deputy and then again at Supreme Assembly in Buffalo, New York in July.

Mrs. Lind, we thank you for your many years of love and service to this great organization and for your Supreme leadership. We hope that you will enjoy all your future endeavors. To Mrs. Martin, congratulation! We know you will enjoy your new responsibilities and we wish you all the best that California Rainbow can provide.
