Make a Difference Month Activities-
Attached to this newsletter is your 2006 form to report your Make a Difference Month activity. I am sure you have already contacted your local Lodge, Eastern Star Chapter, Job’s Daughter Bethel and DeMolay Chapter to coordinate your Community Service event. Each Masonic Lodge has received a letter from the Grand Master directing the lodges to work with and support the youth groups in the Make a Difference Month endeavors.

Make a Difference Month “Senior Ball”- Saturday October 28th at the Union City Masonic Home, 7 PM to 10 PM. Our Youth Summit leaders, Kassie Lee, Jennifer Trumpp and Tami Swartout have been working with the Grand Lodge Youth Orders Committee, Job’s Daughters representatives and representatives of the SCJ and NorCal DeMolay to plan a service event for our Senior Citizens from Union City and another Elder Care facility in the area. The theme of the 3 hour dance will be: “Treasure Your Memories.” It is very important that we notify the committee of the number of Rainbow Girls and Advisors who will be able to attend the event. Reservations must be sent to Kassie Lee by October 19. Jennifer Trumpp is gathering door prizes for the residents to enjoy during the dance (bags of candy have been suggested). Rainbow is also responsible for the photographs being taken of the residents and youth during the evening.
