| Construction neatness and techniques |
Awards
| Sweepstakes for highest scoring garment in first
three categories. Panaloons are not elibible for sweepstakes trophy. |
| First, Second and Third Place ribbons in each age
category in each garment category |
| All entries will model their garment in Sew & Show Fashion Parade during sessions. |
Competition Rules
| 1. |
Participant must be an active member in
good standing and not have reached Majority prior to Grand Assembly 2000. |
| 2. |
Participant must be pre-registered and
attend Grand Assembly Sessions. |
| 3. |
Participant must select and construct
the garment herself. She may be advised and guided by an adult. However, the advisor,
parent or teacher may not select, cut, press, or sew the garment in any respect. |
| 4. |
Only one (1) garment or ensemble may be
entered per participant. |
| 5. |
Each participant is responsible for her
garment to be in perfect condition for judging. Check-in of garment must be made
by participant on Wednesday, April 19, 2000 between 8:00 am and 12:00 noon. Check
at Information for location of the competition. Late submissions will be disqualified. |
| 6. |
Entry form must be
completed, signed and received by Chairman postmarked no later than March 20, 2000. |
| 7. |
Bring accessories for Sew & Show Fashion Parade such as shoes, belt, jewelry, appropriate undergarments, slip, etc. |
Girls entering Pantaloon Catagory
bring blouse, nice top which will complement your creation. No skirt lifting, no bathing
suit tops, no bare midriffs, etc. Remember, you are young ladies and Rainbow Girls.
See your Mother Advisor for application form and remember the
deadline (March 20, 2000).
