Grand Assembly 2001 Competitions - Essay Contest
Grand Assembly Essay Contest for 2001

Essays will not be presented orally. They will be judged entirely as an essay by the committee. The winning essays will be published in the Pot of Gold. Each entrant will receive a trophy.

The appropriate form is available from your Mother Advisor and requires both your signature and her signature and must be attached to the essay and then sent to Mrs. Cathy Deets, Essay Chairperson.

Theme "Increasing Membership - Why and How?"
Word Limit 350
All essays submitted must be original material only of the entrant.
Deadline All essays must be in the hands of the chairperson no later than
February 1, 2001. any received after this date will be rejected. No exceptions.
Categories A. Girls ages 11 through 14 (by Grand Assembly)
B. Girls ages 15 through 21 (if extended) (by Grand Assembly)
Judging will be on Creativity, Organization, Support for the theme, Grammar and Spelling
Ineligibility Grand Officers and Past Grand Officers are excluded from this contest.
