Grand Assembly Arts and Crafts Contest for 2001

Send of your entry forms to the address listed on the form BEFORE MARCH 15, 2001. No entries will be accepted after this date!!!!!!!

Please note: Only one entry per girl is permissible to allow more girls to earn ribbons. Items to be completed since 2000 Grand Assembly.

Please be sure the guidelines are followed and the form is filled out properly and MAILED TO ME BY THE DEADLINE, so that certificates can be made for each girl entering the contest.

YOU OR YOUR DESIGNATED ADULT representative must bring ALL ENTRIES FROM YOUR ASSEMBLY to the Craft Booth for check-in between 9:00 a.m. and noon on Saturday, April 7, 2001, or for 1 hour after opening sessions.

If you have any adult that would be kind enough to help out by being a judge, please have them fill in the appropriate form and return to me.

Please CHECK and make sure each form is LEGIBLE. Be sure the description is DETAILED enough so we will know what item belongs to which girl, as the girl's name should NOT be on the entry.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you at Grand Assembly and appreciate your help in making the Arts & Crafts contest a success.

CATEGORIES

Carry-ins
Cross Stitch	must be framed and/or matted
Crewel/Latchhook	latchhook as in rug, not pillow (see below)
Embroidery, Knitting and Crochet	Any type article (i.e. sweater, afghan, etc.)
Dolls	a. fabric b. porcelain c. ceramic d. stuffed animals
Paintings	must be framed a. oil or acrylic b. water/pencil/ink c. chalk/colored pencil
Photography	must be matted or framed
Wall Hangings
T-Shirts
Photo Album Covers
Woodworking	cut-outs, woodburning, etc.
Pillows	a. fabric b. latchhook
Plastic Canvas	anything is acceptable - use your imagination
Cut and/or Stained Glass
Recycled Items	be creative
Miscellaneous	any item that does not fit a specific category above all these will be judged together as a group

REMEMBER - ITEMS MUST HAVE BEEN COMPLETED SINCE LAST GRAND ASSEMBLY.
