Pot of Gold
The following are the Pot of Gold Deadlines:

Please make sure your Pot of Gold reporter submits her article on time!!! Our deadlines are CRITICAL as we begin work on the paper immediately following the deadline.
These guidelines must be followed:
1.) All articles must be TYPED IN 12 pt. ARIAL FONT and DOUBLE SPACED. Please do not type the article in all capital letters.
2.) Please do NOT use color print or ANY graphics.
3.) Include your assembly name in the article; name only, not assembly number.
4.) The article is to be about your assembly and its activities.
5.) Do not use brand names, i.e. Coke, McDonalds, Starbucks, iPod, etc. Instead use soft drink, fast food restaurant, coffee place, music player, etc.
6.) The reporter's name, address, assembly, age and the date should be typed in the upper right hand comer of the article.
7.) When e-mailing, all e-mails MUST be received from the Mother Advisor's or Grand Deputy's e-mail as listed in the Pot of Gold, or a call MUST be placed to the Editorial Advisor to verify an article coming from a different e-mail address.
8.) Please write the assembly name in the subject line when e-mailing.
In an attempt to make sending articles easier for our reporters, we would like the articles to be sent as e-mail attachments. This address may be used by the Mother Advisors or Grand Deputies to submit articles written by the girls and approved by the adults. Articles submitted directly by the reporters will be treated as having NO APPROVAL. Attachments must be in MICROSOFT WORD format. The e-mail address is capotofgold@comcast.net
Photos CAN be emailed as attachments to the email address listed above. Or, you can send in an ORIGINAL hard copy (not a copy of the picture) which will be returned at Grand Assembly. Write the name of the person who owns the picture on the back and the assembly name, so it can be properly returned. Mailing address: Pot of Gold, 2870 Osborne Rd., Cameron Park, CA 95682.
Please stress the importance of reporting to your reporter. The paper is by the girls. It is important that we hear from each assembly. All articles must be submitted on time and follow these guidelines for your assembly to receive their 100% participation certificate! Let's make this year's Pot of Gold truly SUPER with 100% participation!
